Out There manjaPainted in 2020 Size 61 x 46 x 4 cm The story of my artwork This artwork is of a family gathered at camp in the afternoon after a day of travelling. Travel was often to trade with neighbouring countries of items from tools to various foods. This artwork is sold unframed and does not include a hanging solution.

This artwork shows some of my favourite animals

while the plants and flowers symbolise the growth and nurturing that we experience

This artwork is of Juwarda (people) coming together

as reflected in the hills and waterways and connection to Country

but connection—knowing when they’re ready

adding small details every few weeks between my usual work

I created this design using my 2022 NAIDOC poster as inspiration

while our shared experiences are likened to the growth and blossoming of vibrant life
