I worked on all twelve images simultaneously, starting each mini painting with simple charcoal marks, allowing my hand to move freely across the canvas. Then, I added translucent washes, letting the early marks peek

These original cyanotype ornaments were created from the native plants I found while hiking the high alpine trails of Colorado

and everyone used a Hewitt Packard 12C

(24" x 48" if hung as a single artwork)

watching them blend and dance

and the faded blue color of denim cutoffs

Gone was the small classroom with friends I'd had since kindergarten

I love them for their colorful blooms that last all summer long

then inked and printed it multiple times to make Ancient Patterns
